Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, Course curriculum is relevant and research-driven. examination structure is excellent and fair. Syllabus is useful for implementation in future farming and agricultural activities. Many farm visits and rural agriculture work experience training programme is conducted by college.
Placement Experience
It is good. Many companies come related to agriculture field including operations, marketing of pesticides, seeds and fertilizers, NGOs for placement.No internship availed.
College Events
1. Zone-wise Youth festival under cultural activities2. Regional level Farmers fair in 3 months.3. National Level Agriculture fair4. Annual function includes cultural, sports activities5. Tournaments of bad-minton, cricket, football, chess etc.6. many competitions throughout the year
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible for all. Semester wise fees was 5000 per semester and payment can be done through cash, cheque, Net banking, UPI transfer. Caution money of Rs. 3000 deposited while admission which is returned back while leaving college. Besides above fees, examination fees of 1000 rs per semester is also charged by college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any scholarship or educational loan. College provided scholarship to topper of each faculty on the basis of merit list.
Campus Life
College campus is very beautiful with road side avenue trees. It has been maintained very nicely.Lot of bio-diversity of many floral, ornamental, fruits plants can be seen in my college No gender discrimination could be seen in campus.Students of college have unity and often discussion forum on several activities at college level.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, rooms are clean and properly painted. Bathroom are clean and sanitized daily. Recreation rooms, library, TV hall are well maintained. Kitchen is kept good and hygienic. Hostel warden is sincere and punctual in his visits and strict also for those who breaks rules.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors were very supportive and provide all possible help they can do. They also recommend some carrier opportunity if any thing comes in their knowledge
Admission
My interest and passion towards Green colour and plants made me to opt this subject. I want to be a part of Grain/vegetable production as a farmer and contribute to nation. An interview is organized based on merit list of applied candidates for selection in M.Sc. Forestry.
Faculty
They are full of knowledge, supporting to students and explaining every point in detail. Their methodology to describe the subject are very useful and easily understanding. The notes provided by them also have information in detail as per requirement of examinations.
