Entrance Preview
I got into this college through K-CET. Its an entrance exam held by education department of Karnataka for admission of medial and engineering colleges. I scored 86% in the board exam and had a rank of 16111 . I had no better college for my rank and I had to opt for this college.
Internships Opportunities
Until now leading IT companies have been to this college. To name a few TCS,Tech Mahindra,cognizant,Johnson and Johnson have been here. TCS and Tech Mahindra take up in a bulk and offer abour 400 students a job in their company.
Placement Experience
To be frank branches of Computer science, Electronics and communication and their sub branches have sufficient core companies to get them placed. Civil engineering rarely has 5 or 10 placed.
College Events
College take's initiative to hold down departmental fests and events once in a sem. In the odd sem a fest by the name 'mAITri" is conducted and offers as an inaugural fest fr the freshers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and not at all expensive. It is an private college aided by the government of Karnataka. I was made to pay 18,000 to the government and 18,000 to the college which invluded everything except the exam fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't avialed any scholarships from the college. As the college is an aided one by the government it offers various scholarship students from Government .Namely Epass which offers a student about 18000 a year.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities is rarely backed it supported by the college and so is the condition of the sports. Gender rations is of 60:40 of boys: girls and being a top 15 college you can see people of various ethnicity.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel has seats for about 600 students. As it is an old college the building looks old and almost all the walls and wardrobes are seen with cracks. Mess food is satisfactory.
Alumni/Alumna
The college holds alumni for the passed out studenta. Even though it's common that seniors disrespect juniors some cope up good with junios.
Exam Structure
The college is an autonomous one affiliated to vishweshwarya technological university. It holds three internals for 25 marks and the best 2 is taken and is tabulated to 50. The sem end exam is fr 100 and converted for 50. So the iinternal and external exam makes it 100 and the grading system and in CGPA.
