Remarks
Initially I was dragged to this college due to its relatively lower tution fees and the campus environment. The college is situated in very nice village with plenty of soothing view and peace. Later I came to know the placement record of the college and found it was much better than the college I wished for.
Course Curriculum Overview
I found the curriculum very sticked to the core of the course. The syllabus was routinely updated from time to time. There were many faculties like Swapnil sir, Tejas sir in every semester who gave their full cooperation towards our studies and helped in every difficult situation throughout the course duration. College organizes industrial tours in every semester and an industrial experience in between the semesters.
Internships Opportunities
I did two internships in 3rd and final year of my college. I interned in Tubefit engineers and Fluidfit engineers after my 5th and 7th semester respectively. In both companies I opted for production supervisor, without any stipend. To get the internship I needed a letter from my college signed by the department HOD and principal. The duration of both internships were 1 month.
Placement Experience
Every department has its own training and placement cell. The training and placement officer from respective department conducts practice exams in every semester and maintains records for the same. This record acts like usual filters in any placement exams. The visiting companies range from local to many MNCs. The TCS, WIPRO, L&T are some famous visiting company names.
College Events
College conducts two festivals in an year. The odd semesters consist of technical fest and even semesters consist of cultural fest. The cultural fest requires the participation of at least 50%from every classroom. The technical fest gives exposure to many industrial and technical experience zone. The participants are not limited to college itself, any student from any college can participate and compete with others.
Campus Life
The thing that I liked the most was the campus infrastructure of college. It has separate buildings for mechanical and civil branches. It helped students to unite as a department. College is equipped with many course labs with required apparatus. It also has vast library with numerous books and field magazines.
