Remarks
There were many factors which played a key role in choosing iiser mohali for my graduation studies some of them are its nice student friendly environment as well as its nice location near the city Chandigarh secondly it is a national importance college and comes under direct central government and at last highly qualified faculties and alumini reach.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is divided into semester system. There are total 2 semesters in a year and in every semester each subject has 3 exams total from which 2 are midsem and one is end sem examination. The weightage of each semester depend on individual faculties.
Placement Experience
IISER Mohali is a research oriented institute so talking about pacement direct is something irrelevant. Most of the students do phd after their 5 year degree from foreign universities or from our college also as well from other famous universities of India.
College Events
Two main large events of the college are insomnia which is the annual fest of the college celebrated every year in the month of feb-march. Second is the foundation day celebration but also all the religious festivals are also celebrated in the college as well. Independence day and republic day are also there. There are near about 20 clubs in the college and all actively organize events for students.
