Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is always in line with industry.there is a scope for reaserch also at the level of graduation. but for more reaserch PG and PHd is required.NIT itself is top institute among ranking. so to get admission is quite difficult. campus placement is very good.
Placement Experience
infosys, thermax, wipro, tcs, tata motors, l&t, BAJAJ Auto, VIP, AMDOCS, CAPGEMINI ALL are coming for placement. there is written test followed by group discussion and personal interview
College Events
general gathering, SUPRA, BAJA EVENTS. CULTURAL FESTIVAL includes group dance, solo dance, singing, fashion show, play, art exhibition, games like cricket, hockey,basketball, tennis, football takes place. technical events include design,development of model and prototype
Fee Structure And Facilities
FEE is very economical as it govt college. no extra fees.there is always transperency in breakdown. dont worry about fee structure as it is govt college.the fee is around 50000 per year and not more than this.mode of payment is online and offline both.

there is schololership for first 5 students. also for poor students refund of fees takes place by submittining EBc form. education loan is also available, college will give noc for this
Campus Life
gender ratio is 4/10, as for enginnering college very few girls are there, campus life is good, there is robotics compition nation level, debates or group discussion and sports compition college level, state level and national level.extracurricular activity is also there
Hostel Facilities
yes, rooms are seperate for individual and good hostel.no sharing of rooms. avg rental is 20000 per year which is very low and also mess is run by students, so charges based on how much you eat. so total transperency
Alumni/Alumna
yes, alumni network is there. always at the end of year there is alumni meet.so yearwise alumni meet is there. so good for alumni.
Admission
its a dream in 1995 to get admission in VNIT, Got good PCM marks, admission based on only merit list.Mechanical engg is always best course in engg. so took admission in mech only.follow the merit list, at the time of my admission there were available seats in mech. so got admission easily.
Faculty
Best faculty in VNIT.All are qualified and good exprienced faculty.avg age is 45 yrs.expert lectures are there to all students.good preplacement preperation is also there.there are short term courses also.total lectures per week is always 34 as perUGC
