Remarks

Overall it is average. Bad about the college is placement as more and more companies should come in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have the exam conducted by Mumbai University. In one sem we have 2 uts and 1 practical and 1 University exam. Exams are taken fairly in college. Course curriculum is also very relevant for the benefit of the students but the give more importance to theory than practical. College organize guest lecture according to our core feild. The well experienced professor of IIT and other institution come in our college and give guest lecture and share their experience with us. Career guidance is also organized. Industrial visit is also organized by college for 3rd year and 4th year students but not for 1st & 2nd year.

Placement Experience

3

The college forces student to do internships when they have vacation it has been made mandatory for the students to bring internship certificate after the new semester starts. Many localized company and famous company come in the college but not to that extent. Companies like TCS INFOSYS JSW TATA MAHINDRA KARAMTARA etc come for the placement. Recently college has given more preference on the placement. Then new training & placement cell is there in college they are connected with each and every Hod's of respective branch. The college bring new lecture on training and placement in which experienced faculties give lecture on apptitude tests and mock test. Communication skills lecture are also organized.

College Events

4

We have the main event called Jashn-E-Theem in which many technical non-technical cultural event are organized technical event like robo war, coding, solid modeling bridge making etc and non technical like Pubg, nfs, cs-go are organized by the college but student co ordinates the event. Sport event like Cricket, Football, kabbadi, kho-kho relay race, running race. Indoor games like carrom, chess, badminton are also organized for both boys and girls.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible it is divided by caste wise. Those students who fail to get admission college takes donation and give them admission. General category student have to pay around 60-80k for the course and min fees if 20k for the caste student. College takes a DD(demand draft) of some amount and 13k as extra charges like lab charges bus charges stationary charges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I have applied for scholarship of named Post matric scholarship for SBC student. Some amount from our fees ar directly send to our linked bank account. Online form is filled by students. For me around 3000 RS is availed by scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good sometime faculties apply strict action against the students bunking there lecture and sometimes not. We have a big Cricket ground in front of the building where all sports activities are carried out. We have labs for attending practical of the respective subject almost all subjects lab are present. in the college. I don't know exactly gender ratio but there are more boys than girls in college 60:40 is ratio. There is no political parties in college and no election are carried out in college all the students is treated equally and no castes discrimination is done according to caste race and religion.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are sometimes very helpful for organization of event or about the studies and for selecting the subjects and knowing about the faculty in college we ask them first about the college.

Admission

As this is only college of automobile engineering in my area Soo I went I was trying for other options in Mumbai but it was government college and cut-off was very high. First I registered on DTE website with all my documents. Then after some days merit list was announced. There were 3 cap rounds. Then after that students were allowed to enter respective college name according to preference. Then as per our percentage they allot college in Cap-1 round. If student Willing to take admission in allotted college he/she shall go to ARC centre and fill the form of freeze or non-freeze if student fill non-freeze in his form he is able to apply for another Cap rounds for another college.

Faculty

4

I am doing automobile engineering and our department have almost 10-12 lecturers. They are well experienced and but lack punctuality they have fair knowledge about the core feild and almost 60% of faculty have done masters in core feild. Some of faculty are not that good they lack teaching techniques knowledge about subject. The average age of faculty are around 30. Some of the lecturer hold industry experience as they have worked before in industry.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.
