Decent college, placements good for marketing students

Its a decent college, where you'll learn and grow. However, the management is not good. Theres quantity and no quality. They are taking admissions in bulk, but no quality placements.

The curiculum is fair and needs certain improvement. But mostly i enjoyed the subjects and they helped me. There are small mid sems before the final exam. There are 5 sems. sem 1, sem 2, Summer Internship Programme(SIP), Sem 3 and Sem 4. 1rst year you will get to learn all subjects(Finance, Marketing, HR, Operarions,IT), from 2nd year onwards, you can decide youre specialisation and select your'e subjects. Alot of training in given in the area of soft skills for placements.

The placement of the college is good for marketing students. For finance big companies like JPMC come and take only 4-5 students from the entire batch of finance students. Other companies do come for finance, but i wasnt happy with the profiles, since i wanted core finance profile and no marketing. Banks like IDFC, HDFC & ICICI do come, but for R.M and collection management profiles.

The college events and clubs are amazing. If you are an introvert, dont worry, this college will open you up. There are different clubs for acting, singing, Hr, finance, creatives, IT, gaming, Environment and they conduct different events throughout the year for students to participate and improve their communication and other skills. However, the college once a year has a big festival where all these clubs conduct activities and students from different colleges come and participate.

Feasible because they don't ask for fees in bulk, but semester wise. Its decent, everyone getting place.But the value of money is too less if we compare fees with the salary we are getting from the placements. So, it is both feasible and expensive. You just need to pay caution money worth 10,000 in the beginning, no additional fees demanded, and yes they are transparent.

No scholorship opportunities. My father paid for my education. However, there were students who opted for Educational loans.

Campus life is awesome, the clubs and the curriculum really open you up. Its helps you to improve on many of your'e skills and is quite helpful. They are many activities carried out by the different clubs in the college throughout the year. So, it was a great experience.

No, i didnt opt for hostel facility, since i stay in mumbai only. However, there are PGs for students coming from outside of Mumbai. Only Hyderabad campus has hostel facility rest 8 others do not offer campus facilities.

The seniors are great and helpful. They help in sharing their experiences and give good advice regarding the subjects to choose, company to sit for and in life.

I had just completed my graduation and wanted to do MBA, I gave entrance exam for IBS, cleared it, then went to Hyderabad, the main college of IBS, IBS is running 9 institutes offering different courses in PGPM. So, i cleared Group discussion and Personal interview and then on my performance got mumbai as my college. This all happened in the month of feburary. However, if anyone wants to join they take interviews in the month of march and april too based on your'e NMAT and CET scores if you have not given IBS entrance exam.

Faculties are very helpful and kind. They have good experience and give good practical guidance to students. Since, i was a finance student, the finance teachers were amazing. They gave us good practical knowledge, not just based on our books, but outside learning too, which was very helpful.
