My Review

I'd recommend this college to everyone because of the quality education, faculty experience and knowledge towards the subject and way of teaching is excellent, no where in Bangalore u will find this quality big education for this affordable fees.

Course curriculum and examination structure are based on theory as well as practical exams, we will be trained during the whole semester abt different types of cuisines and plenty of dishes at the end of the semester University will conduct exam where an external faculty will come and conduct the examination and he'll give the marks to the students based on their performance. Curriculum is mainly concentrated on different types of cuisines and their verity of dishes this will help us to gain more and more knowledge about the cuisines around the world which is highly recommended in every 5 star hotel. Every year college will conduct industry visits to 5 start property, wineries, breweries and many more places like flow show happens at lalbhag because gardening and flower arrangement is part of the course and there will be no place to understand better than this.

We have a saparate placement cell for the students to get the jobs and their contacts is at top level. Recently of my super senior has placed in Japan and USA and one of my senior who is still yet to complete the course has already placed as bartender. Coming to Internships, placement cell will make sure that all the students get their internship in 5 star property only and they'll do. Internship is a part of curriculum which comes in 5th semester, however some faculty members will assisst the students with part time jobs while they are studying. This helps to students to get knowledge, experience certificate and degree at the same time.

Relish - it is an annual food festival of our department which is been conducting from 26 years. All the department students will assigned to some task like cooking, service of food, welcome the guests, decoration and many more we'll be working in a team like we used to do at hotels which helps to get better knowledge. Every semester department will conduct theme lunch to all the faculty members including other departments, students will plan a menu from different cuisines and they will prepare the same dishes according to standard recipe and sometimes they'll improvise also to get good results. Students will setup the restaurant according to the theme and all the steward boys will be dressed according to the theme. There will be one student who is supervising the every operation. Student have to do marketing and sell tickets and they have to do costing, indenting, profit and loss. Apart from our department college will conduct ethnic day, cultural day, sports day, environmental day and many more. Student will participate in every college event actively and make this event successful.

Every year fees varies, now it 4 laks for 4 years and including addmission fees, uniform, insurance, University registration. Everything will be mentioned in the expenditure letter. Also there will be some additional fees after joining the college, like examination fees should be barrowed by students, some special uniform for the kitchen and restaurants may costs u more. College accepts the payment like cash, cheque, online payment like IMPS or RTGS.

College will provide the scholarship to deserved students they'll cut down some amount in the fees. Apart from the college, government scholarships are available for students and total guidence will provided by the institution.

To be frank there is no gender discrimination in our college, everyone will be treated equally in the campus and most importantly NO RAGGING in the campus, if someone did they can complaint to the university or police directly, faculty members or any other staff won't make differentiate between cast, religion, race, sex or anything everyone are treated respectful. Apart from studies, there is more extracurricular activities like sports, ethnic day, cultural day, festivals and students will takes part actively in every events. There will be debate competitions, drawing, essay writing, speech regarding perticular agenda and students will take part in the events actively.

When I spoke to alumni they have experience the same enjoyment which we are experiencing now. They have secured their life after joining this college and they are all placed in reputed hotels and paid well. Some senior students are pursuing their master degrees in abroad and some seniors are working as well.

I was searching for a college in Internet and I found this college, and fees structure was affordable to me and I contacted the college directly and they guided me in every step. Reason I have chooses BMH because I want to do research on alcohol and the best way to start is this course. The date of joining would be 16/07/2018.

There are 7 faculties including Head of the Department and all the faculty members are well qualified with masters in the same industry and their work experiences are damn too good. The way to teaching is excellent and as they have enormous amount of knowledge, they we'll answer every student doubts without any second thought. Everyone one have minimum of 5 year experience in the industry and their knowledge towards the curriculum is very effective. Personally I'd like to say these are the best mentors I've got.
