All about my college

My overall conclusion about college is that it is an amazing college where u get to learn a lot. They have the best placements. The infrastructure of our college should be improved more and apart from that i have no comments or complaints about my college.

As our college is affiliated to JNTU-A our course curriculum was same as theirs. Yes, our course curriculum is systematically designed like increasing the level of difficulty of the subjects as the semesters increase. our course consists of 8 semesters. Its an 4 year course. semester consists of 6 subjects. each semester we have both internal and external exams based on our subjects. We have 2 internal exams whose average is taken for 40 marks and the external exam is for 60 marks. So that sums up as 100. each semester exams are for 100 marks. Also in internal exams assignments marks are included. Apart from 6 subjects we also have practical exams. So all these marks are given in the form of grands and credits. Finally all semester grades are taken average and final aggregate of our course is given after 4 years. I totally believe our course is fair because it had helped me alot at the time of my campus placements. I successfully got a job Cognizant. Also our course is research driven because all the semesters have practical subjects, labs also in our final year we have to make projects on our own. They were no industry visits in our college. My course it totally made me a better person as i was able to get a job in an reputed company and i have become a better person than i was 4 years ago.

The placements in our college are pretty good. That is the main reason i was joined in this college. Many MNC's, Startup companys, and training institutes conducted drives in our college. Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, Hcl, Knowledge Lens, Mphasis,Infosys, Pentagon etc are some of the companys that have come to our college to recruit students in our campus. We had many internships both in and out of campus right from first year. In our campus we have a placement officer who brings all the drives to our college and responsible for conducting them in our campus. The general Recruitment process will be assessment exam followed by technical and HR interviews which are conducted face to face by the company people. The placement percentage in our college is 80. Our placement officer along with the help of our department faculty has started preparing us for our placements right from our third year itself. Also the external trainers from Talentio came to our campus to give us special training for placements.

Generally every year in our college 3 main events take place those are Freshers day, Annual day and the biggest techno cultural sports fest 'Ashv- The race of talent' which is the best event in our college ehich is conducted for 2 days and its generally conducted in the month of feb every year. We usually have a lot and lot of fun during this events and we eagerly wait for the entire year for this fest. We have different events like cultural events, Technical events, sports etc. We also have celebrity night were different singers and Actors like Anupama parameswaran, Mehareen Pirzada, Mohana Bhogaraju, Sapthagiri etc. On freshersday which is usually conducted in the month of September, all the senior perform on stage to entertain the freshers. On Annual day cultural programs are held and also different awards like academic excellence are given to the students of different years. Apart from these events we also have department wise technical events.

We have an yearly fees structure which we have to pay at the beginning of each year. Our fees structure is not very expensive its moderate. My course fees is. lakh and 9 thousand for each year. The mode of payment is both online and offline. In offline both cash and card are accepted. Online, bank transfer using back account number of college. Immediately after fees payment we get an printed receipt as a proof of fees payment. People who did not get rank in EMECET exam have pay donation at the beginning of the course along with the fees. Apart from that college does not take any other fees. Yes, the college does provide transparency in fees-breakdown.

Yes, the college did offer so many scholarships to many merit students in our college. As i have not taken student loan i have no idea about how that works. Also i have no Idea about the criteria of the scholarship as i haven't got any. I think poor family background, Good score in academics and Father or mother should not be a government employee might be some of the criteria. Scholarship might have been provided in our college for more than 20% of the students of our college.

At first me going from city to that college i thought would be difficult for me. But all the beautiful memories from my life are from my college. I really love the atmosphere and people their are so sweet and friendly. Their are more male students in our campus than female students. The ratio might be 3:1, but i am not sure about that. We are freely allowed to talk and participate with our opposite gender. Our college is located in the beautiful locality between the hills. Our college scenic beauty is amazing. All the extra curricular activities are present in our college and time is also alloted for us along with our regular subjects. We have different clubs in our college like event management clubs, events organization club etc. We also have a gym, work shop, many grounds, basketball courts, shuttle courts, football courts etc. Their is no inequality or politics based on sex, religion, region, race, caste, ecomomic status. All are treated equally inside the premises.

I don't think the alumni networks are that good in our college. But are seniors are very friendly and supportive in many ways. They had guided us and shared their experiences with us.

So, basically i'm from Hyderabad, Telangana. All my education till +2 was done in Hyderabad itself. After my +2 I have written the entrance exam for both the states( both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh). But unfortunately my results in both the examinations were not that good. My grand parents stay in Madanapalle, our college is quiet famous in that area so my grand father told my parents about the college and its good campus placements history also the donation was quiet affordable for us. Considering all these factors my parents decided to send me to that place for studying b tech. As i am used city atmosphere( Hyderabad ) i din't wanted to go to that place as it was a town. Somehow my parents convinced me and thats how i happend to join in that college. Speaking of the admission process and dates admission process is based on the rank in EMCET exam ( AP entrance exam for engineering). After writing the exam we next to wait for the results and after results based on counselling process colleges are assigned to us. Students who din't get good rank in their exam also can join by paying the donations. As my rank was very bad i had to pay donation and join in the college.My reason for taking up this course is that, It was totally my parents decision they have decided well in advanced ( the time when i was born ) that i should study engineering in computer science and engineering.

Over 500 Teaching and non teaching faculty are their in our college. Most of the Teaching faculty are PhD holders. All our faculty are highly experienced and have good command over the subject. Our faculty members are from different parts of India also their communication skills are amazing. They are super friendly and supportive. We can easily access them in their cabin, in the respective departments. They will always make time to clear doubts even after college. We also have extra classes so that we can understand our subjects better. The average age of lecturers might be around 35 to 40. The hierarchy of our college is the Dean, Correspondent, Principal, Vice Principal, department HODs and subject faculties.
