Remarks
The management and college have played a very important role in shaping the personality of the students and we are really very thankful for whatever the college has done for us.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum set up by the faculty was very much relevant and related to how things operate in the external world. We were given more of projects and research which made us visit various factories, service professionals, and helped us to interact with them and understand how they operate and in the end made us have a look into the business environment and also sum up some key strategies or decisions which led to their success
Placement Experience
They have a placement cell in the college, but as i come from a family business background, i did not take much interest in the placements and joined my family business post graduation.
College Events
We had a festival held called Collosseum. The festival were a pretty big deal and we had a good 3 day celebration which harnessed various arts, sports, and general knowledge skills. Also particularly helps you learn a lot of stuff on management and various technical and organisational capabilities
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was pretty reasonable. We paid around 35000 fees per year and it was valur for money. The fees was supposed to be paid twice a year semester wise. So approximmately we paid around INR 17000 per semester twice a year. The bank accepted fees in the form of a Demand Draft only. There was complete transperancy in the fee breakup, and there were no hidden or unnecessary charges
Fees and Financial Aid
We had never opted for any scholarship programme because scholarship was never an aim. So i really have no idea about the scholarship programme.
Campus Life
The campus was pretty restricted as the main NM Building was demolished during our time and the NMIMS Management building was under construction, so a lot of courses were operated in our college building. Our classrooms were very well built and had airconditioners. We had projectors in all the classes and our course modules were more of presentations.
Alumni/Alumna
Not taken part in those so have no idea regarding the same. But during the college fests, we had a lot of seniors coming in and helping us make the fests bigger each following year
Admission
While we completed, HSC result meritt list was the basis for admission. I had secured 79.17 % in HSC and had applied under the gujarati quota for the admission in the college. I got admitted into the second meritt list. Apart from these, there were no other admission criteria
Faculty
The faculty at Mithibai was ammazing. We had lecturers who were in the age group of 35-40s and they had a very vast knowledge and understanding of the subjects they taught us. We had a certified CA teaching us Tax Audit and accounting to be precise. Our finance lecterurer himself published books which were used widely as a text reference in many colleges.
