Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum was pretty much what is necessary to be in a technical industry. The exam was based on practicals + theory Marks. The teachers here are pretty helpful with the syllabus and practicals. If you love the course then it is easy for you to get this degree.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

We have a decent kind of placement mostly through pool campus which the teachers provide us.We have companies like L&T, Infosys, Capgemini offerfing a basic salary that is provided for graduates

College Events

Mostly very event is celebrated in our college from technical to cultural to sports event. The festival name is Kiran if you have heard and is the most popular event in south Bombay.The event takes place between mid of august to September with a lot of participants from different colleges in and around Mumbai.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure was feasible with about an average of 30000 per year which is 90000 for the 3 year course. If you are from the reserved category then your fees is approx 9000 per year which is 30000 for three years in total. Only the additional charges that is charged is for practical papers and books.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't opted for schlorship or education loan and I have No idea for the same but one can opt for education loan if needed.

Campus Life

The gender ratio for our course was 2:1 for male:female. Extracurricular activities alot to experience like dram, singing, dancing, hiphop, rap-battle,etc. Sports activites like football, cricket, badminton, chess, table tennis, etc. We also have debate competiton research based competition and these all are pretty good to experience.

Hostel Facilities

No I haven't opted for hostel as there is no hostel facility in our college. But if you want you could opt for hostels in that area which is pretty expensive. If one wants hostel facilities its better to opt for areas in suburbs of mumbai.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni here is pretty helpful with the exam pattern and about the course curriculum and are very easy to get in contact through fests in the college or by teachers

Admission

I wanted to purse my career in Computer Science and this was the best college I could Get into in my area that offered this course.I got admitted in this college through merit list on I suppose Mid August 2016. The merit list was based on by Math marks because the course that I elected was suppose to have Math in my H.S.C / 10+2.

Faculty

There were some teachers with industry knowledge but some were out dated. Teachers help you with the syllabus and exam if you reach them well and are very supported. If you don't get any of the practicals you could ask them for a revision lecture or so

But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. Life learning by the sea

I had applied for 3 colleges- Patkar college, Sophia and KC. I got selected in all three colleges but just because i wanted to experience travelling I decided to take KC.
