Not very satisfying, college fest has not been celebrated from last two years Hostels are quite good in first year and second year u get a room for two whereas in third and fourth year you can opt for a single room U have to compulsary pay for mess and can not join other tiffin services

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
