Remarks

My life in that college has actually made me a complete different person. I would love to go again and do some course in future if possible.

Course Curriculum Overview

The approach for each and every student in this university is very practical. They put more emphasis on the implementation part rather than the theoretical part. Industry visits, regular presentation on latest updates in the corporate world, forecasting the market growth of different industries, these are some of the salient features provided in this Institute.

Placement Experience

5

For placement, we had a completely different approach. We had a placement cell where all the companies would give there tentative dates for campus recruitment. Companies like Amazon, EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, PWC, GT and so on came for the campus recruitment. Almost every student got placed while I was in the college. We had a lot of sessions for the preparation of the campus recruitment which included GD, PI and also technical tests.

College Events

5

One management fest per year which includes different activities for different specializations. We had bhasha utsav or called ethnic day where everyone used to wear there own religious outfits. We also went for a lot of management fests across the country where our students performed very well and also won the best college title.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible as compare to other B-schools. For me the total course fees was around 6.75 lakhs. I paid it directly through account transfer as my dad is a bank employee. You can pay them through any mode, cash or cheque or directly account transfer. You get all the details about the fees paid from the account section whenever needed.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted for an educational loan from SBI as my dad is a bank employee. You can avail it directly from any bank where you have your savings account. Even there is a provision for loan inside the college campus as it has collaboration with South Indian Bank. You can opt for fee loan from that bank directly because they make your student account by default after getting admission.

Campus Life

Gender ratio in my college campus was almost equal. As it was a deemed university, lots of activities related to culture, race, religion etc were carried out inside the college campus. We had some societies who helped local NGO's to get good and better recognition in the market. A lot of sports icon and other VVIP's used to visit the college. I personally had met Venkatesh Prasad, Rahul dravid, Shashi Tharoor. It was a complete experience and by listening to those people you get complete different view for life.

Hostel Facilities

I haven't opted for the hostel but the hostel rooms are quite close to a 5 star hotel. All the facilities were implant inside the hostel. The rooms were divided into double and triple sharing with separate bathroom. Inside the room, a table and chair for every student plus a bed with a cupboard. You have to opt for the hostel while taking admission and the fees is separate. I don't know about the fees exactly as I was staying outside the college as a Paying Guest.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a separate alumni group which is very active. Every year we have an alumni meet in the college where mostly people posted in bangalore join the meet and share their experiences which I personally feel is a very good way to improve your networking. The alumni group is also very much active in different social media platform.

Admission

I got the admission in this college through Management Aptitude Test (MAT) scoring 96 percentile marks. There was a 4 round selection criteria which includes Group Discussion, A small generic exam, a micro presentation and finally Personal Interview. I chose this college because of there 100% placements and also the dynamic & holistic approach towards the latest trends in the market.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty are the backbone of any Institute. We had a diversified set of individuals with industry experience as well as lot of them from fortune 500 companies. As I did my PG in finance, we had almost 10-12 quality professors who taught us to cope with the latest and current scenarios in the corporate world and also made us practice the tools used in many big companies across the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
