Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is structured in such a way that it demands a student to conduct research work but it was mostly theoretical knowledge and less practical. Also the exam structure is very hectic and demands a lot of hard work and commitment from the students.
Placement Experience
Our college lacks when it comes to campus placement. I mean there do organize campus placements but they are rarely of any help.
College Events
Our college conducts mostly 2 fests one is a cultural fest and the other is a sports fest. The cultural fest is quite big and runs for a good 2-3 days. It provides ample opportunities to students to showcase their skills. But The sports fest is one of the most enjoyable time of the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I would rate 10/10 in this matter. Being a central university, It is one of the most affordable college as one can get. It provides quality education at such affordable prices which enables students from poor economic background to come at par with the other students.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, since it is already subsidized by central government. It didn't charge much fees. In addition, it provides scholarships to students.
Campus Life
Campus life varies for various kinds of students. The extracurricular activities, sports and competitions happens alongside classrooms classes, so one needs to miss classes in order to participate in such activities. But they do conduct fests, which are quite enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities
No, since this college is situated in my home town. I didn't have to look anywhere else for accommodation. I stayed at my parents house during the whole course. But it does provide hostel facilities in case one needs.
Alumni/Alumna
No, they aren't. Neither they were invited for any guest lectures nor We got a chance to speak to any of our alumnus.
Admission
Because it was the only central university in our state. Also it was the only college that provided decent education in a small town like mine. Plus it offered a variety of courses, out of which I got selected for the course I wanted. As far as admission process is concerned, it conducts entrance exam filled by counseling.
Faculty
Just like any other college, some professors are average, some pathetic and some are like god. Some professors genuinely come out of the their comfort zone to help you and some deliberately create hindrances in your study. But most of them are very knowledgeable in their fields.
