Remarks

I think the fees is the main concern, there is no relaxation provided like even during the Covid 19 situation. Many families have lost their jobs and it's difficult to pay 70000-90000 for fees. Apart from that, I think some faculties may cause issues at times when they're inexperienced.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a variety of subjects and gives exposure to many fields related to Psychology. I've had extra subjects like communication and a foreign language that's mandatory for all students and for every course. No industry visits have been held, but internships are mandatory for our course which is really helpful for insight gain.

Placement Experience

3.5

The campus placements are good for many courses. For Psychology I feel, it's a developing field, the number of job availabilities are growing steadily. But the university has tie ups and students have been recruited at good clinics. The internships are mandatory for our course, which is great as it helps in gaining experience. But we have to arrange for internships on our own, the college hasn't provided much help.

College Events

4

The college has lots of events and festivals due to the hostlers, there are numerous occasions of cultural, management and the Amity youth fest which is pretty famous. We have a number of celebrities visiting the campus, I think that makes students very keen and excited. The sports events are emphasized a lot and hold lots of value.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is pretty expensive, no transperancy is not provided, since it's a private university, it isn't taken into account. Fees is taken semester wise, and lots of additional charges are taken for back papers, and for improvement. The mode of payment includes online, net banking, and campus payment.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any of these. Scholarships are available for students scoring above a certain cgpa. I believe it ranks from 100% to 70%

Campus Life

The number of labs, halls, equipments, everything is good. There are many workshops that occur in different departments every week or so. Students from abroad are also present, there's a diversity, students are from south India, some from Kashmir, and some from Gujarat and North East too. So overall there's good diversity and inclusion. I think socio-economic status would hold that majority of students are rich, however there are middle class students too.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel opted, however, students say the AC rooms are good. The fees for that is high, and food is extra charged. There are many PGs available near the university, however many choose to stay in rented flats.

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful, in our course most have opened their own Clinics and and hold workshops, they help with the curriculum, extra information and also internships.

Admission

I opted for the course because it was a direct entry for Clinical psychology, which is not available in most places- Directly admission into Clinical psychology in bachelors. I was selected on the basis of my 12th results, so I got a direct admission without any entrance exam or interview. However many of my batchmates had interviews and exams. The admission process was pretty easy and everything was online.

Faculty

4

The faculties have good knowledge and experience and skills. Most of them have doctorates and have good presentations. Sometimes, it maybe that some faculties are not that great perhaps because they've just graduated or are pursuing MPhil. But otherwise, they have lots of materials, and virtues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
