St. Joseph's college Autonomous jakhama Nagaland

The college is very good it not only provide good education but also mold a student from every sector.

There are 2internal exam before giving the external exams internal exam are taken in strick manner it is for 30 mark we sit for an exam, and teachers check the answer script very strictly. Our internal is for 30 marks so 20 marks is taken from the internal exam and the other 10mark is given to us through our activity, preparing presentation, Assingments, group project, case study, anything that is useful for us.

For the final year students there a certain companies come of with courses and the placement for students who are about to graduate The institution like hospitality, photography, career guidance, leadership training, value education, counceling service are provided for the students.

We have various programe in our college various departments also held programe. One of the famous programe in our college is spring fest it is a grand programe held in the month of march every year it shows the uniqueness of every culture present in Nagaland there are reported present in the programs to shoot the programe these spring fest programe can also be seen in YouTube. It is one big cultural festival celebrate in our college, we also celebrate graduation day, freshers day, Farwell in all this programe all the students r compulsory to attend. Various departments Also have different programe like convergent fest organised by the BBA it is also a big event and seen in YouTube as well we also have pol Expo and mini parliament hosted by political science department and Eureka fest by science department, commerce day by commerce department.

8000 per year excluding transportation fee, there are cashier counter in every block to Collect the fees, cash is accepted we also pay absent fine of 100 on occassion like graduation day, freshers day meet, and the college does not provide transparency in the fee breakdown we have to pay within the due date.

The college have not offer any scholarship opportunities but students get scholarship from government side.

There are students from different religion and every religion is respected though it's a catheloic institution we also have library with total collection of 19165 including book related to curriculum martial, inspiration, information and reference books like encyclopedia, yearbook, dictionary and many more we also have computer lab, internet center language lab, science laboratory, botanic garden, aqua culture dispensary, canteen counceling, exchange programe, ganes and sports facilities, hostel accommodation for both Girls and boys.

The senior students are very good and helpful. When I 1st join the college I thought the seniors will bully students but no such things ever happen in the college they have always guide their juniors.

I choose to join St. Joseph's college autonomous because it is one of the best university in Nagaland with good facility, I join political science department while joining an interview was conduct in which my 10th and 12th pass result and admit card was required and my residential proof.

The teaching and no teaching fault both word brilliantly in this college. Lectures explaination are very good and it's clear and to the point they also heighlight us about recent affairs goin on around the world. If students have doubts the teachers are always ready to clear the doubt.
