My Choice

If you are planning to do engineering or post graduation, SJEC Mangalore is one of the best. It has a huge campus with a message of GoGreen. It has huge playgrounds and good staffing. The management of this college is great and if you want to grow on any field, you get help.

Since this college is under VTU, the exam was hard to crack, but there were no loose ends. All lecturers had their own forte which made them unique. The college campus is awesome and have mainted GoGreen aroun the campus. Our batch was also called the golden batch becz we had 100% results.

There is a good demand for placement. Students also get trained for their skills at all levels. Above 50+ companies come in for the campus selection. Around more than 60% of eligible students get placed every year. List of companies would be - Infosys, tcs, Microsoft, cognizant, wipro, amazon, hp, mphasis, sap, decathlon, tech mahindra, bosch, capgemini, citrix, vmware to name a few.

Every department will have their fests. The MCA department will organize fest related to their sibjects/topics. The engineering departments will have their fest where many college's participate. Each and every culture is celebrate in SJEC college. 'Tiara' is a big fest help by the engineering students which is a huge success.

For my 3 year MCA course, i had spent around 2 lakhs. Bank transfer, netbanking, cash are accepted. Yes, the college provides transparency in the fee breakdown.Feasible structure, i can say when compared to other colleges, for the amount of knowledge you gain is impeccable.

SJEC campus is beautiful. Its a huge campus and hence the life here of a student is beaitiful. Various workshops are held to improve the knowledge of students for each departments. We have huge playgrounds for sports, separate court for badminton, basketball and football. Sports day is held every year and it's a huge success. Students represent their college for various competitions. Each departments have their own well equipped labs.

Seniors are very helpful. They help us grown, guide us on things, help us during fests, share us their feedbacks on subjects and guide us on the course.

I had taken BCA in my degree and hence wanted to do my post graduation in thr same field. Had heard that St. Joseph was a reputed college and hence chose it for my master's. The admission procedure was simple, had an interview and got selected. Also, you can go through their website which gives you the complete idea about the admission process.

Faculty were around the age ranging from 25 to 40. Since the rapo of lecturers and students were good, we never had tough time for anything. The faculty had good knowledge about their subjects and had their own way of teaching things to make us understand.
