College is one of the best in Mumbai. Has few cons too, but overall very good college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Masters of Management Studies i.e. M.M.S. course is of 2 years. It has 4 semesters in total. It has 4 specialization, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and Operations. The curriculum is based on which specialization student select. Students are groomed as per industry standards. Yes there are few industrial visits too for students to understand how industry works.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent. Many Multinational's visit the campus. Few of the top companies that visit campus includes Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Nestle, Puma, Morgan Stanley, Colgate, DHL, etc. Tentatively 98-99% students gets placed. College does give training, seminars to prepare students for interviews.
College Events
College celebrates both cultural and technical events. Technical event is big one. It is called as WeBizz. It is a business festival. A lot of competitions are there. Students from all over Maharashtra participate in the fest. It happened at college only.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure for my course is feasible compare to the PGDM course. Our fee is 6.4 lakhs for full course. Fees can be paid via any mode, be it Cheque, Cash, Digital Payment, Credit/Debit Card, etc. College gives full break up of fees. You also have to pay 5000 deposit advance for admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I personally did not avail any scholarship or loans. But college has tied up with 1 or 2 banks which gives loan easily. Also you can avail caste based scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. Gender ratio is approximately 5:3 i.e 5 boys against 3 girls. There is diversity as many students are from different background, some from engineering, pharmacy, commerce, B.Sc. etc. There is sports room in college. we are encouraged to participate in many competitions which held in different colleges.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful. They always gives tips on how to go forward. College has strong alumni network. Alums help a lot during interview preparation
Admission
First I gave the entrance exam named MHT CET, got 96 percentile. Then admission process started in July. 1st step was document verification at ARC. Then filling of college names, filled 10 top colleges which accept CET. Then there are 3 merit rounds, got some other college in 1st and 2nd round then got Welingkar in 3rd. After that freeze the admission online, went to college, submitted the documents and paid the fees. College started in a week after that.
Faculty
Faculty is vastly experienced. Lot of them has industry experience which help us a lot. Tentatively there are 20 lectures of 10 subjects each semester of 2 hours, so 200 lectures per semester. Each subject faculty has some or the other relevant industry experience in that area which help students gain knowledge about the same.
