Remarks

Attendance system is SUPER strict and will take a while to adjust to the "NEW NORMAL"

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is not only well designed, but is also updated frequently to meet modern day needs as well, I can say this with certainty as our batch has totally different syllabus as compared to our seniors so I have a first hand experience of this. I cannot stress it's importance enough as there are many colleges out there which run same set of courses for years without any change whatsoever, the end result of someone who goes through that is most likely an unambitious, 9-5 working "babus". Plus being one of the "cream layered" educational institute of the region, is serious business, it means we get to visit some of best Tech. companies, institutes nearby. We have regular visits scheduled and we enjoy and learn alot. (Different branch people are taken to different sites for visit eg. Students of Electronics an communication were taken to ISRO, Civil ngg. students were taken to Jaipur cement factory etc.)

Placement Experience

3.5

The Placement/Internship cell is quite active and functional which provides us with latest updates, as well as celebrating placements of our batch mates.

College Events

1

Ample of events were conducted pre-lockdown, so much so that, there was always an event or two going on during any time of the year. The anal events and tech fests are so gala events that people from different colleges across the city come to visit them we have a very good time during those fests, it's a totally different environment that I cannot just put into words.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, with charges lower than most other colleges of this caliber. Admission done only on merit basis hence no extra charge, (Unless you apply for foreign quota). Fees are justified, there is no going any lower than this for the facilities that the college provides us.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. Top scores do get scholarships varying from fee waivers to cash price. There is also award ceremony for students who do something out of the box on our founder's day Eg. played a sport on national level, published a new research, etc.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is pretty ok means it varies from course to course ofc, C.S.E. has in general most number of girls as compared to other branches and Mechanical has lowest. College is quite diverse with people from different states as your classmates, you get to know a lot about different people. Having alot of people means that they are of varying political opinions, while most of the kids are left leaning, I for one am a conservative right leaning guy who believes in fruits of capitalism. I find no trouble having civilized debates on such political issues with my friends who are of varying opinions. Gender tolerance is quite good, people accept others with open arms regardless of orientation, gender etc. One of our batch mates is open about him being homosexual and he finds no trouble for being one. Plus they have introduced a course as "Gender communication" as one of the electives, which would be enough to prove my point.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is little to non existent. This is something that we are planning to do something about

Admission

I had an AIR of 23,745 in JEE mains 2018 (IT,NU merit no. 297), I wanted to get an admission in a well reputed college that too in a computer science course, hence the best possible option I had at the time was this and I do NOT regret any of it. The most compelling factor that led me to choose this course and college was that it was in my home state, hence I could take a bus and travel back to my home during weekends and show up for my classes on Mondays. If you are someone who is looking to get an admission into this college, just make sure you keep checking the official website at least twice a day, as they are your single most reliable source of procedure to follow to get your admission, make sure to attend all rounds of seat allotment, It might be disheartening at first (since I didn't secure a seat in first 2 allotment rounds, I remember myself weeping for hours on those days) but if you are aiming for a Computer Science, an ITNU merit number under 300 be relaxed.

Faculty

3.5

we have a classes between 9-4 (generally), faculties are just cooperative, need a mail to reach them, many have been very pro active in doubt solving, plus they are all well qualified and knowledgeable with decades of work exp. in academics and industry as well.Lectures are designed so as to train us for modern day industrial needs, with guest lecturers being startup owners, CEOs of well established firms, even professors from abroad universities. Thus that area is well covered.
