Phenomenal 3 years!

It was a sudden choice I asked my friend who later on became my senior on whether the college was good and he recommended it so I went ahead and got selected. It was good choice.

St. Claret is affiliated to Bangalore University so the syllabus is relatively easy and that is good because you will have more time for other activities and not to forget you can ace your exams. Most people would say the curriculum is outdated and maybe they are right but the basics has to be learnt right? So if its outdated always know you have to do more and at the end of the day the day that is what learning is all about! Going the extra mile. The college provides a lot of seminars, webinars, activities and industrial visits to bridge the gap. The faculty range from corporate experienced and academically centered professors so that the student experiences different perspectives. The faculty is focused on exploring student potential through giving them the green light to go to management fests all around Bangalore and also to other states. The faculty is also very much focused on assisting students in their academics, and all other areas of help with a number of mentoring classes.

The college certainly helps in internship but its limited as very less companies with minimal openings come in. Always understand that internships are available and the student should take it up to get their desired internship, the placement will definitely guide you. Have a plan for the year.

Students start going for placements by the 5th Semester all the way to the 6th. All deserving students get placed. Companies like Deloitte (5lk), Amazon (4lk), Cognizant, Gallagher, McKinsey Global Solutions, Wipro, TCS ... visited in the year 2020. The average package is 3lk. Don't believe that 100% placements statement.

All you need to know: Every student has the opportunity to meet ROI within a year and also can extend to 1.5 years. The student has to be willing to put the effort for the opportunity at hand. The colleges assists and encourages merit through their scholarship. Every student can avail merit based scholarship through Semester exams during college years. Claret also provides scholarship based on Minority status.

Every department has tests and attracts colleges from all over Bangalore and other states. Mayurika is the biggest extravaganza with huge footfalls. Recipro is the intercollegiate festival. The library houses more than 4,00,000 books. Classroom is spacious surrounded with greenery with canteens nearby and a green quadrangle. Theatre club is definitely the most energetic bunch of people and not to forget the College band which is one of the best band in Bangalore. No small feat

When I joined there was nothing but an interview but as the years advance entry into courses are based on many criteria and Academic records is most important one but again the college is eyes open to talented individuals.
