Remarks

As a whole wadias gives you the freedom of bunking college also the management is not very helpful in case you go the office to collect marksheets or some other information. Overall it has improved from what it was in 2012 attendance is now compulsory and infrastructure is better too.

Entrance Preview

I opted for MPM in wadias as i wanted to post graduate in HR. Not many colleges were offering this course then. The admission took place after a College entrance exam. Timings were 6pm- 8pm. Can be recommended to people who are already working.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure covers up the important topics one must know in HR throughout the 4 semesters labour law is a mandate. It covers a little of industrial psychology too. The advantage of this course is you need not wait for 1 year to specialize in the second year.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. No stipend also the college officially does not provide an internship the faculty helps you get one for the project if you are unable to find one yourself with the internship letter provided by the college.

Placement Experience

1.5

Horrible placements after MPM. There were barely companies that came to campus also the highest offered was 10, 000/-by some consultancy.Lowest offered was 7000/-. no big companies approached with high packages for the course. There were companies that walked in but for marketing majors.

College Events

2

There have not been many events celebrated but yes we did go for a trip to sanskruti for showing our cultural event to the students from abroad. We do have occasional seminars where teachers across the globe participate and motivate the students. During festivals we take a holiday as ours is a parttime course not much can be done in 2 hours time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure back in 2010 was affordable also because it was not MBA. The fee structure was approximately 40,000 including the examination fees. In the second semester there was a difference of 5000 or so. The fee structure is now higher than it was then. Every semester exam costed us around 1100 -1500 rupees

Fees and Financial Aid

I havent availed any scholarship and know bare minimum below is copy pasted from their site. At Nowrosjee Wadia College, the meritorious students should be rewarded and should not be left out of the main stream in their quest for higher education. Scholarships at the college are provided to the outstanding students. Thus, to recognize talent of meritorious and needy students, the college has provision of scholarships, medals, awards and certificates. Regulations governing these scholarships/awards can be amended from time to time.

Campus Life

3.5

In case of part time courses such as Masters in personnel management there is no age limit most of the crowd was in their late 30s and early 40s or who were working. People in 20s were a rare sight. Occasionally there were debates with teachers and students in the classroom no extracurricular were there even tho a football ground was accessible to all.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Not applicable as for this particular course no one stayed in the campus hostel. the canteen has been unhygenic in wadias for years it has also been in papers for the same. Average rentals for paying guests costs around 10,000 rupees in a decent area for 1 bhk with mess food. Wadias being near station rentals are high in areas like koregaon park and Dhole patil.

Alumni/Alumna

We did not interact much with the seniors as the course was only for 2 hours 6pm-8pm. As it was only a part time course we did not have sufficient time. But when juniors needed any notes or help seniors were approachable.

Exam Structure

The exams were a little hectic as we had internals and externals in those 6 months so sometimes it left the portion incomplete and students had the pressure to learn on their own. The only hectic exams were the project viva where students waited for their turn for hours and had to face external as well as internal jury where marks were sometimes inexplicable.

Faculty

3

Faculty has been decent. Some of them hesitate to speak in english but after constant reminders from foreign students they make some efforts. Some of them are excellent with the knowledge they possess and teaching skills with students. Faculty overall is not very strict and can improve.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
