Reality of ZHCET

The main thing that I presume my engineering from this college is very low fees and availability of hostel at very low price. If you are economically weak college also provide scholarship. You can't imagine that my four year program total fees is under 50,000. And also my hostel fees is 1200/month. Also university complete it's 100 years . Also college has proper instruments and lab for civil and mechanical students which are not provided by many other college. All the faculties are humble and down to earth. I gave Engineering entrance exam which is amueee. I got selected through entrance exam. Date of admission are given according to the rank. You can go for the same at the given date and time. Admission is done within 2-3 hours if you have full and proper documents. You can visit amucontoller for any update.

Actually I choose because I have to become a IES officer for which we have to peruse engineering in core branches . According to my rank I got civil so I took admission in it. Faculty is very humble and helpful. I don't know about faculty : student ratio but ensure it must be good. All the faculties are PhD in there respective fields. All the teachers are studied from IIT , IISC , AMU, JAMIA and abroad also. There are two semesters . In one semester 100 marks are divided into 15:25:60 which means 15 marks for assignment, 25 marks for mid sem and 60 marks for end sem. For passing the term exam you have do your class regularly and little bit study you can easily pass the exam.

College is provided off campus internship . You can apply for any government or private company for internship.

Percentage of getting placements are very low. But you can apply for government job. There are lots of selection in CS and ELECTRONIC branch , many companies visited but for mechanical ,civil engineering a few companies visited but many of the student of our college selected in outside placement and government jobs . My plan after completing my degree for go to IES or PSUs

My first year fees is 19640 and from second year it is 7360 . Overall if you're you can complete your b.tech under 50,000. Also your hostel has no residential fees only mess fee which is 1100+100. 1100 for mess and 100 for washerman . Also in your holiday fee refund policy of your mess also there. You can apply for all the government scholarship in this college and also some scholarship for amu students only eg begum hazrat Mahal , sultanjahan scholarship. You can apply for national scholarship or up scholarship. You will get assure fee refund . There are many institution which want amu students as there teachers so you can apply for it.

Annual fest is zerf ,sir Syed day and if you're in hostel so there is a hall week. Zerf and hall week is in the month of JANUARY. And sir Syed day on 17th Oct. Zhcet has its own library which is known as book bank you can go there for any book, if you don't have any book which is not found in book bank you can go to university library MAULANA AZAD which the largest library of up as well as one of the largest library of Asia. There are all the sports in university sports club including horse riding, scating , swimming etc. You can go for many other club like drama club , movie, literary and many more. There are many club which are associated to art and culture , all the program are held in Kennedy auditorium. And many club for scientific enhancement like AMU ROBO CLUB, SAE ZHCET ,AUV ZHCET , ENTREPRENEUR ZHCET, CIVIL Engineering club ZHCET etc.

There are very big rooms with very good ventilation and one fan and 2 tube lights . In first year and second year room are 5 seater , in third year room is 3 seater and in 4th year room is single seater. You can buy a cooler for which you have to pay extra bill of 200-300/ year for extra electricity. One very big almirah , one table and chair and 1 bed is provided to you. Meal quality is very good you can find menu by visiting the site of amu Bibi fatima or NT. If you want hostel you can fill the hostel in the registration form of amu entrance. At the time of admission, faculties allot you a hostel you can go there and fill a file of hostel and process is completed. Hostel has affordable to all who are outside 10 km of amu.
