MBA in my opinion is all about experiencing many things in a short span of time. most of the learning happen through the peers. In this regard XLRI is one of the best places to spend 2 of the best yrs of your life.

I took XAT 2013 exam. I scored overall 99.82 percentile i had few other options in and outside India to pursue my MBA before XAT results were declared. Once I made it to XLRI the choice was very simple for me as this is one of the most reputed college of the country with an illustrious list of Alumini. Also my hometown is very close to jamshedpur and helped me decide on this college.

XLRI is known for its rigorous curriculum. It used to get very hectic to mange so many classes, assignments, presentations, quizzes etc but at the same time it was great fun and learning experience. XLRI can easily boost about having few of the best faculties in field of HR, marketing, finance etc who have published many books, research articles, journals etc

I interned at Microsoft IDC hyderabad. It was a great learning experience in every sense working with the brightest minds, working on latest technologies, great employee policies and perks

XLRI has one of the best placement records in the country. A small batch size with sharpest minds definitely goes a long way in providing best placements for the students.In HR specialization XLRI definitely has the best placements in the country.

XLRI is known for its culture. we have various sports, cultural, business events through out the year. few of the biggest events in India are Valhalla, Ensemble, Maxi fair etcMAXI fair- the event organised by the marketing committee in India features in the limca book of records and is the oldest marketing event in the country.

Most of the banks offer education loan to people securing a seat in XLRI. SBI which has a branch near to the campus offers attractive education loans for the students.There are number of merit based scholarships available for the students from the government and private corporate.

XLRI has very good gender diversity with close to 40% female representations. Campus life is very happening with a plethora of activities happening on campus throughout the year.There are a number of curricular and extra curricular clubs who organised various events. There are also active sports and regional committees celebrating various festivals throughout the year.

Hostels are good especially with the coming up of modern infrastructure which was completed in 2014.Fees of XLRI is at par with the old IIMs- A B C But being a premiere private institute this seems only fair compared to the the infrastructure in place

Being one of the oldest B School in India XLRI has a very strong network of Alumi who are holding various high positions in the corporate world.Most of the HR heads in the country are from XLRI testimony to the fact that XLRI offers the best HR course in asia
