Being an Alum of this prestigious college I can easily say that it was one of the best decision of my life to pursue MBA from this Institute. Its a tag which will sail you through all your professional and personal life.

I appeared for XAT and scored 99.82 percentileXLRI being one of the oldest and most premiere institutes of the country made my decision very easy.Alongwith the great academic rigour, faculty, quality of students, placements the one factor which also played a role in me choosing the institute was the fact that my hometown was just 3 hours away from the city of Jamshedpur

XLRI has one of the most rigorous academic calendar across India. You have endless classes, quizzes, presentations, tests spread across 6 terms.The quality of faculty is of top quality and which separates it from other institutes.

Everyone lands up with a very good internship opportunity.Although internship is a great way to understand and experience the corporate culture which most of the students land up after 1 year, The stipened offer is also quite good with an average value of 60-70k per month

XLRI boosts of a very strong Placement record.The HR course from XLRI is easily the best course of the country if not of Asia.The placement season gets over in a very short span of time with leading companies from all the sectors making there presence felt during that time.

XLRI is also famous for its culture and celebrates a number of Academic, extra curricular, Sports and other events on its campus.MAXI hosts one of the biggest marketing event of the country. Apart from this there are sports and cultural festivals which happen all around the year.

Fees for a 2 year program are a little higher. But considering that its a private institute as against the IIMs and also the quality of education which results in very good placements the fees structure is justified.Also it has very good infrastructure which justifies the fees collected from the students.

A number of scholarships are offered by the institute and also various Corporate players like Tata, Birla, Jindal etcMost of these scholarships are merit based.

Campus life is very happening with tons of events happening through out the year. There is always events taking place on the campus which keeps students active. Various sports, cultural events, regional events take place all the time.

Hostels are of very good standards. With the new campus coming up the standard of hostels have become world class.The student Mess is controlled by the students and thus offers tasty food options everyday.
