Remarks

Good environment for engineering study. Well equipped labs in my college and experienced faculties. They provide practical education. That's why I choose GEC RAJKOT.

I choose mechanical engineering because I like it. Our mechanical department is really great. We have nice experienced faculties, Well equipped workshop and good campus.

There are very few internship opportunities with our college. You have to find internships on yourself.

Our college has good placement cell which includes experienced faculty members and alumnis. Overall placement is good in over college. You can get placement data from official website of GEC RAJKOT.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is government school, so yearly fees is less than 5k. You got gujarat government scholarships if you pass through the eligibility criteria.

Campus Life

The campus of our college is very pleasant and cheerful. Seniors help juniors in any situations. There occurs various technical events and cultural as well as sports events in our college. We have very big and beautiful campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good. Very clean and good hostel but they don't provide food. You have to arrange yourself.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placement we have top companies like tcs, accenture and ibm in all years almost 90 to 95 % students are placed the average package is around 6 lac per annum i plan for abroad to do my masters

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.
