As mentioned in multiple surveys and reports IIM Ranchi is one of the best in comparison to peer IIMs in terms of faculties, course offered, placements, ROI, as well the students have been performing really well in corporate competitions like HUL Lime, Flipkart Wired, etc. The HR programme offered here is the flagship course of IIM Ranchi and is considered among the top 5 courses in HR in India. All of this encouraged me to join IIM Ranchi
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is highly focused on various aspects of human resource management. Right from the first year the students are taught specific subject that deal in human resources apart from general management subjects. The industrial exposure provided is phenomenal, there are industrial Stewart who visit for guest lectures as well as take some of our regular classes. The faculties are highly experienced and have innovative teaching methodology. One of the faculty in the HR department is Prof. Gaurav Marathe who way of teaching is exceptionally well and it leads to experiencial learning.
Placement Experience
The placement is one of the key aspects of IIM Ranchi which is better than it's peer IIMs. More than 100 companies participated in the placement season. Profiles offered varied from strategy consulting to operations, sales and marketing, finance, supply chain and HR. Companies like Google, Godrej, DE Shaw, Flipkart, Deloitte, Samsung, Emami and various others offered various roles to the students
College Events
There are various fest organized at IIM Ranchi. Agon is the name of the management fest in which teams from all over India come to participate. Rush is the sports and cultural fest which is a 2-3 day event and which again witnesses participants from across the country. Apart from the fest here the different cultural festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm cherishing the diversity that we have. It's a family away from family!
