Remarks
I thought the college would provide various career advancement opportunities. I personally wanted to settle down in Bangalore, Karnataka. The campus is strategically located near the IT tech zone of Electronic city, near the outskirts of South Bangalore. It has state of the art infrastructure, with an impressive library and recreational areas. The dormitory and food halls were also very comfortable. Moreover, the college regularly organizes cultural programs, academic programs and visits by members of the industry. The college also has an international exchange programme.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was definitely up to date. Yes 2 months industrial exposure helped us understand the practical situation. Faculties were very hard working. Dr. Pratima Verma guided us very well in our academics, personal and professional lives.
Internships Opportunities
Alp Consulting, no stipend, HR Intern, applied privately.
Placement Experience
A myriad of mostly Marketing and Finance companies with a few HR consultancies as well. Junior to mid level positions were ordered. Placement department could work harder as many went unplaced in the pandemic. Some alumni are working in top MNCs. Entrepreneur cell was negligible.
College Events
Alliance Research Symposium, all festivities were celebrated, various academic presentations like HR conclave, etc. Usually 200-1000 students attend with many participants. There were also flee markets and other interesting and fun events as well.
Campus Life
Excellent infrastructure, gigantic library, large cricket grounds, good WiFi and gym was excellent. There was a provision of all facilities and equipments which made our lives very easy inside the campus. There are convenience stores and other restaurants which made life very comfortable.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Rooms are clean, spacious, rent was a bit high, laundry is available with both double, triple or single sharing rooms as well. The prime location near the college campus makes it convenient place to live as you can skip the Bangalore traffic.
