This is a college of National Importance where students from different states and countries come. Having some brilliant minds around and learning from the best faculties, what better place to have my graduation completed.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus was upto date. And the practical projects in the labs provide great insights on the concepts. Infrastructure is good. The best part is we get taught from the senior most faculties who have the best knowledge on the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't got one through college. I have a friend who interned in SAP, a software role, where he got a stipend of 16000 per month
Placement Experience
If you belong to a software background, you are sure guarenteed with a placement with a great packages. Number of companies visiting the campus marks around 140-150. Out of 900-950 every year, you can 750-800 students (minimum) get placed. Companies like Samsung, Microsoft, Amazon, L&T, General Electrics, Capgemini, Philips, Zomato and many more visit the campus. The alumni network is quite good. But it would be great if they are involved in making efforts for the welfare of students regarding placements. One of my Batchmates, Smriti Tomar from Electronics and Communications branch had started a startup called Stack Finance.
College Events
The best part of the campus is extra curriculars. Every weekend we will be having some great events conducted by different societies like ISTE, IBC, IEEE, PIXEL, VISION. Workshops related to coding, photography, literature being some of them. We have a Technical fest known as Technosearch every September/October in the odd semester and Cultural fest known as Maffick in March, conducted in the even semester. Great history of celebrity singers marking their presence in the past had been the highlights of these pronites.
Campus Life
There is a sports complex with Gym, Volley Ball court, Table tennis, Foot ball ground, cricket grounds, Batminton courts. The college gives free access to wifi over the entire college. We have two libraries where the old one having good collection of books and new one being constructed. The equipment in labs was decent enough to do practicals.
