Remarks

It's a Institute of National Importance and based on my Rank in entrance exam, this college is really the best fit. To learn things not only academics part but for extracurriculars also this college provides best platform.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Syllabus wise it is really good and updated as per the latest requirements. Industrial exposure is good but may be it can improve a bit. Faculties were really good for Mechanical, all the faculties are experienced and PhD scholars. Dr.Bhowmick, Dr. Sanyal, Dr A. K. Tiwari these are really top notch faculties.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Opted Internship but not paid one. I interned in Tata Steel. College placement cell will provide opportunities for internships also

Placement Experience

Job Opportunities are really good. I pursued Mechanical so. For Mechanical many companies visited like Tata Motors, Reliance, Vedanta, Maruti Suziki, JSW, Nuvvoco, L&T and many more. The profile is mostly GET Graduate Engineer Trainee. Alumni network is very good, have separate WhatsApp groups and timely they provide job opportunities and referrals.

College Events

Personally i can say that this college got some thing which really teaches you a lot. You really will be attached to this college. Fests hold by this college are superb and Especially Cultural Fest Eclectika is the best. No student should miss Eclectika's experience, so many events to participate and it is best platform for one who is really passionate for extracurriculars. And for learning skills Eclectika is the best platform for managing things.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP by which I received 10000 every year for 4 years. Loan availability is there, I haven't opted but one of my friends took loan from Sbi. One can avail loan without security.

Campus Life

Campus Infrastructure really improved a lot in last 4years. Separate CCC computer center with 500computers recently built for students. Library is decent size. Labs also well equipped with all the required equipment. For sports department NITRR has well equipped gym and institute gives enough encouragement for sports activities and provides all the required.

Hostel Facilities

Honestly Hostel facility of this college is not that good. Only the merit students can get hostel. But locality is very good you can find rooms and pg and flats for affordable cost. Availing hostel is not that easy you should maintain a CGPA of above 8

Placement Experience:

Every year, good law firms from tier 1 and 2 classes and corporate companies take placements from our college. The students become eligible for placement from the 9th semester itself. In my batch, every student who registered for placement got placed in a law firm. I didn't opt for placement as I have other plans of doing a Master's further after my graduation.

This college is the best college in whole Chhattisgarh in terms of placements. This college will give you best placements that even the gov. college of it's level will not. A minimum of 400000 per year placements here is easy. And if you got some amazing skills then you can get a package more than 2200000 per year. That's very nice!

I applied in jossa counselling and get this college via that counselling because of my jee mains rank i got this college very best whatever I can get so i didn't really apply for any college just got addmission into this college because of jossa counselling and jee mains and jee advanced. I want to join iits but my rank was not that good so i didn't get seat into college like iit Bombay, iit Delhi, iit Kharagpur etc. I get addmission iny college firstly you have to give jee mains exam and get ranks as follows 75000 for general studies to get addmission in my college via jossa counselling or csab counselling you got the seat then pay the seat acceptance fee and book the seat in college then go to physical reporting to that college....Read More

My Daily Life At NIT Raipur

I had applied for NIT Silchar , But i didn't got it because of Low percentile in Jee Mains 2025 but i got NIT Raipur At Last Because NITs Have Home State quota and I Belong to Chattisgarh ,so i got NIT . I didn't Choose this college this was the only option i Had Left . So i had to choose this college that to Bio Technology Branch .but anyways i got good college ,better than half of the private institute in the manner of Fees and Reputition . We got admission through JOSAA , And we have to qualify Jee Mains Examination ,which Is Conducted By NTA ( National Testing Agency ) . The cutoff the exam category wise are Gen - 93.4 Percentile , Obc-82.1 Percentile , Sc -61 Percentile , And For ST it is 48 Percentile.
