STUTI SINGH's Review On Bennett University, Greater Noida

I wanted to make a career in Journalism. The college from where I am pursuing Mass Com is a Times of India group's college. It is a hardcore college for Mass Communication and Journalism. I was also recommended by one of my family friend who is a pass out from Bennett University. Bennett offers good amount of exposure to students. The course comprises of 70 per cent practical and 30 per cent theory. The faculties are well experienced here. The college was established four years in back in the year 2016.

The course curriculum comprises of 70 per cent practical and 30 per cent theory. The course is vast and perfectly covers all the aspects. The college also gives students an exposure of the industry and how it functions. Be it of news channel or an advertising agency. The students are prepared to face challenges and accept setback in life and are taught how to cope up with it. Each semester has around 8-10 subjects. Each course has some credits in it. The faculties of Times School of Media (TSOM) are well experienced.

The placements and job opportunities are really very good. There many good companies who visit Bennett to recruit students. The placement does not leave any stone unturned to place their students into good companies. The first batch has graduated this year.

The campus life is just like the ones we see in movies. Cafeteria is air conditioned and has very spacious. The campus has two cafeterias due to large number of students. Events are common at Bennett University. Every month there is an event that takes place. It allows to students to take a break from their academic life and give some time to themselves and their friends. The events take place on a huge scale with good cultural, fruitful and entertaining program.

No I haven't availed any scholarship facility. Students can take education loan from back and pursue their profession. The college gives some redemption in fees if there are any referrals. Based on class 12th percentage, students are given some redemption in fees.

Bennett University is constructed on a large piece of land in Greater Noida. The college is well equipped with all technical facilities. The college has two libraries, one is a common library and another is especially built for Law students. The library has all academic books which students are recommended to study. The sports complex is quite fascinating and huge. It comprises of gymnasium, cricket ground, football ground, badminton court, squash court, basketball arena, swimming pool and lot more. It also has all accessories which students need while playing. For example Bats, Balls, Racket etc. The laboratory has all the equipment for those who aspire to become a bio technologist. The classes are air conditioned with projectors in it. Each class is equipped with wifi so that students and faculties do not face any trouble while studying. There are also Mac Labs (Apple desktops) where students work for their video projects.

I have opted for hostel. There is twin sharing (150000) and triple sharing (125000) facility allowed to students. The rooms are air conditioned and has wi-fi in each room. The washrooms are in the form of cubicle and cleansed every 2-3 hours. Each floor has a cubicle. Every alternative floor has a huge balcony where students can sit, read and relax. The rooms are spacious and is sufficient for two accommodation.
