Remarks
This is one of the most prestigious colleges of Gujarat Technological University. It offers excellent placement. Even if you are an average student you will get good placements for sure. The college supports you in each and every part of the journey of engineering. The college staff assists you continually. Even I you are shy in asking your doubts in class you can personally reach to faculties and they will answer your doubts. The facilities are always encouraging to ask more and more doubts. The college is very active in the matter of sports. The college also has NSS team.
Course Curriculum Overview
Academics is very good in our college. We have several theory, practical, digital class session and also guest lectures organised. Our syllabus is prescribed by Gujarat Technological University and is updated whenever required. We get much industrial exposure. There are many industry tours to nearby factories in Anand district throughout the 4 years of Engineering. Our computer department HOD Neha Soni ma'am has always supported and encouraged us in every matter. There are specific classroom coordinator facilities assigned for smooth functioning of class.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio is quite impressive. All the companies that visit nearby colleges like BVM and ADIT do visits our college as well. Many students don't sit for the placements and go for abroad studies or government jobs. The college offers several pre placement Interviews as well as group discussion (GD) rounds. It makes us completely prepared for the placement. Companies like Larsen and Turbo, Midtree, Promact infotech, TCS are actively hiring the students every year. TCS gandhinagar being the most active ones. The alums are personally connected to their faculties but there is no separate alumni association.
College Events
We have three festival in our college and aditional to that we celebrate each and every hindu festival. Like we have ganesh chaturthi celebration. We have garba celebration as well. The three fests are our annual day Malhar, our inter departmental fest Vision and our college National tech fest Prakash. There are several other celebrations as well. There is maximum participation in Prakash where people from all over Gujarat come and take part in our events.
Campus Life
Wifi network is very slow, the students have to work with their mobile network itself. College has big library and offers book bank facility. Computer labs have ACs but old PCs. Sports facilities are very good. There is a sports room in our college where we have chessboards, carrom boards and tennis tables. There are separate places for practicing yoga. There is a large playground in our college.
