It is a prominent college of Uttar Pradesh for Engineering. Among the different trades Computer Science and Information Technology are the two most prestigious branches with a placement record of above 90%. Apart from that the facility of all the branches are highly qualified. In early 2015 the infrastructure was not that good but by the time I left the college, their was a 36 change in infrastructure.

The syllabus was not up to the level of IITs but it was satisfactory. But by the year 2018 the college had updated the course as well as laboratories. Most of the senior faculty is very supportive like Dr Pawan Tiwari Sir of Computer Science Dept.

Many prominent companies use to visit the college like Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Global Logic, etc. Different companies offer different profiles starting from TCS with the lowest profile of 3.4 LPA providing placement to maximum number of students (50-60). Apart from it others provide better profile but to fewer number of students. eg. Global Logic - 4.5 LPA - 10-12 students.

The college has different technical festival for different branches. The participation in technical fest was good because of the variety of events. Apart from that the college also conducts a major sports festival (Shourutsava) which has the participants from all over U.P. and a major social festival (Encore), which is also conducted at state level.

The infrastructure was fairly good now. The campus has a variety of space for different sports for eg. Cricket, Football, Basketball, etc. Other than that it also has space for social and cultural activities. In addition to that the campus has high speed wifi facility. Although the staff of laboratories are not that much supportive but the labs are equipped with high quality equipments. Apart from that, the facility of library is not good at all. The library neither has new edition of books nor supportive staff.

The hostel infrastructure is different for different year students. 1st year students have the best hostel facility with best infrastructure and fooding. 2nd year hostel was the worst in the campus with worst fooding. In 3rd year the hostel is alloted on the basis of the student's academic score. For 3rd year and final year students, there are 5 hostels (named as A block, B block, C block, D block and E block starting from best to worst respectively), Sometimes the students with low academic scores in 2nd year did not get hostel and should opt for PG. The PG available in nearby area are available at a monthly rental of around 1500-2500 rupees.
