Remarks

Jain University is one of the reputed universities in Karnataka and as well as India. To be specific, I really like the placements. Many big companies participate in the placements and almost 100% get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is same like all other colleges, we have 2 internal exams, 2 projects and 1 semester final exam in each semester. The faculties are very good, they are young and quite close with the students.

Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Placement Experience

Big four companies like KPMG, EY visited the placement. The placement procedure is very simple, students with more than 60 percent aggregate score can apply for the aptitude examination and after clearing students are screened by the companies Interviewers panel

College Events

We usually organize 2 to 3 big events in a year. Activities include sports events, dance and cultural program. Our events are organized by students council of the college and we invite celebrities of local as well as national level.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was availed a scholarship of 30,000 rupees as I had scored 90 percent plus in my 12th boards. Scholarships range from 15 thousand to 40 thousand and the eligibility ranges from 80 percent to 95 percent plus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
