Heard it was a very good choice for a computer student with high placement ratio. Heard of so many successful job placements in various companies including MNC,too. It also one of the top colleges in GTU.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very out dated course syllabus. Only care about placement records and fees. Students suffer a lot. They focus on quantity rather than the quality of job placements so that they can show off their records. Faculties are experienced but don't have that experience level knowledge. No thorough understanding of course syllabus is provided. They only have good contacts-MOUs-relatiomship with some companies, which regularly recruit the students from here and most of them loses job after one or two year period.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently an intern in Volansys Technologies, as a cloud intern. I am getting 5000 rs of Stipend every month. I got here from college placements.
Placement Experience
So many companies are invited every year like TCS, Volansys,Crest,Symform,matrix, tatvasoft, streebo and so many in computer field. There are also some referrals for some students. Most importantly, favouritism is there,too. A basic placement training is also provided by department.
College Events
Every year organises techfest called spectrum. Students coordinate several tech events but corruption and politics is there. Every techfest has a special cultural nights organised along with. Garba nights are also arranged. The techfest is majorly of three days. Students from so many colleges come and attend.
Campus Life
There are a few sports facilities like boxing,vollyball,cricket,tennis are provided and we have to pay for some of them.Thete is Wi-Fi but the speed is very less that it can't even load 240 pixel video it's speed is very less,only faculty can access that.The size of library is nearly equal to 2 volleyball grounds there are no useful books available there.The equipment in lab is good there are many labs provided by the college we can access them for free even after the college hours.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostels are a bit old here.there is Lack of cleaning there. Low network coverage. Very bad drinking water facility. Poorly maintained cleanliness and hygiene is even during monsoon.They say with hostel, food facility is compulsory. And the food facility is the worst i have ever seen. Students often complaints a lot but no strict steps are taken. Corruption is there too.
