Remarks
The thing which attracts most is its location. It is situated in the prime location of Noida i.e. sector 62 provides good exposure to students, and ranked among top 3 institute of Aktu. Infrastructure is okk okk type. Past placements were better than any other college of Aktu. And the reason why I choosen this course is because it keeps us in the safer side we could either switch in the IT sector too as a software developer and also there will be an open gateway to the core sector as well as government PSU
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is little outdated but now university is trying to update the courses so that student can cope up with current industry trends. Faculties are okay means not that good nor bad. For me my maths teacher Ranu mam was best and for some core subjects like digital system and design Chaya mam is best no teacher could taught you that subject better than her she also taught signals which is again impressive. She is the backbone of EC branch and also for ED(electronics devices) sumit khandewaal sir is good
Placement Experience
Kronos, Adobe,ion trading, Amazon are the high paying company which come to our college and TCS Infosys Wipro are the mass recruiters in which CS IT and EC students gets placed. There are some companies such as ashok Leyland for mechanical branch which has offered 7 lakh
College Events
We have one technocultural fest name Zealicon and is only event of our college. We have one sports event name maitri where we have intercollege completion. In Zealicon you would enjoy and students themselves manage to arrange the events college doesn't take much interest on that but somehow students managed. one more thing don't expect any big celebraties coming to college. They will call local bands aur DJ for their DJ night
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided by UP government and we have to fill this scholarship form separately. No scholarship is provided by the college. You have to fill out separately and some part of the fees around 50000 of your fees gets refunded in your bank account but it is not compulsory that it will be given. Sometimes many get and many dont. As per my experience you could avail scholarship in alternate years.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is ok ok. Sports facilities is also there. Library is awesome. Some labs have old instruments but now college is trying to bring new equipment replacing the old one. Campus is fully WiFi enabled but could be accessed only in laptops. You cannot take advantage of WiFi on your phone
Hostel Facilities
No, the hostel capacity is about 700 students for boys and girls hostel have more accommodation capacity. Usually there are many PG available nearby the college where most of JSS students stay. Some go in flats in their second and third year. Average rent of Pg outside of the hostel is 7500 per month while in college you have to pay an yearly fees of 89000
