Remarks
SRM is a pretty good college and famous college in the south and i am a north India student and they have a north branch in modinagar, up. So after srm jee i got a good rank and got the specilization course which is new and not many colleges provide it, and over the years the placements are getting better and better and the average package is around 4 lakhs per annum, there are companies like microsoft, amazon which comes to campus every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent, for now we are following 2018 cse curriculum, it updates after 3 years, The faculty focuses alot on implementation, rather than just understanding the concept and the academics is quite nice as we get yoga, nso, nss etc, along with our courses to explore more.
Placement Experience
Srm placements happens in the main campus which is in ktr, tamil nadu. The number of companies which visit the campus every year is around 500-560. The internships are provided in the 3rd year. you can apply for them. The degree is of main campus which is provided. The companies which visit every year are dell, amazon, adobe, microsoft etc are the dream companies.
College Events
There are 3 fest the cultural fest rubaroo, the sports fest khel and the tech fest innovate. These fests are quite big and students from all over delhi come and participate in them readily. The campus life is fun, with your friends around, the campus is quite green and the cultural fest is generally organised during the month of october.
Fees and Financial Aid
SRM provides many scholarships, Srm merit scholarships which is based on the rank you get in their srmjee exam, if you get a rank upto 3000 you can apply for the scholarship. Employer ward scholarship, if a student is son or daughter of the faculty and the first child admitted to srmist.
Campus Life
The sports facilities are quite good, we have a basketball court, table tennis indoor games nso room, cricket ground, football field, race track. The library is the best part of college. Library has books, magazines, newspapers, articles and much more. You can request a book if you want. All classrooms are fully ac. Wifi srmwifi is there which college provides, you just need to login once and you are ready to use it.
