Remarks

VNIT Nagpur is an Institute of National Importance, it is ranked at number 27 by the current year's academic rating by NIRF. Apart from this, I chose this college because of its proximity to my home. The Masters of technology course in Communication Systems Engineering is affiliated by NBA making it a globally recognised coursework. The college has a huge campus with lush greenery. The faculty of the college is helpful, the curriculum makes you thrive for excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college is updated on a timely basis . The college Masters course is accredited by NBA making it a globally recognized course of VNIT. Students are motivated to learn new programming languages apart from the field related stuff which help in the long run .

College Events

The college organises different events for Bachelors and Masters students. The enthusiasm of the students in both the events is a sight to see. The events see participation not only from the local colleges but also from the other NITs and IITs from different parts of India.

Campus Life

The college campus is a largely spread campus. There is greenery everywhere which is well maintained. It has a top notch sports Complex for maintaining the physical health of the students. The college has a library with thousands of books and high speed internet connection. The equipments of the laboratories are state of the art.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate.
