This college is a semi government college which comes under the guidance of prestigious Gujarat Technological University. It has been holding a very good rank under GTU. The placements and the academic performance of the students of this college are very impressive. This college gives a very good scope in the field of sports and yoga as well. The computer department placements are very good in SVIT, Vasad.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Academic structure of SVIT is very well planned. The course is strictly based on the ones prescribed by Gujarat Technological University. The faculties are very talented and have the best knowledge in their respective fields. The Computer department faculties are highly practical and believe in giving a practical perception to each concept. We have a very strict attendance rupe of 75% in each semester. The students failing to attain this percentage are denied to sit for mid semester examination and aren't allowed for final semester as well. The industrial exposure is provided by many expert sessions and industry trips.
Placement Experience
The placements offered by our department are quite impressive. Even in this pandemic situation the placements haven't been affected. There have been online placements at our college. The college Training and placement cell is very hardworking and provides complete preparation for real time interviews. The practice group discussion session and pre placement Interviews are provided. The companies like TCS and Infosys has been actively hiring the SVIT students. The TCS hires a lot of students every year.
College Events
There are many fests celebrated every year at SVIT. We celebrate almost all the Indian festivals in our college whether it be Ganesh chaturthi or Garba. The college annual day Malhar is celebrated every year in the month of March marking the annual award ceremony and various guest lectures. The College inter departmental fest Vision is celebrated in the month of September. There are several workshops, games and competitions into this. And then is our college's most awaited fest of the year Prakash. It is a National level Technical fest celebrated every year in SVIT. We have students from various universities coming and Participating in this fest.
