Overall it was good experience. Faculty is helpful but management still need to improve few things.
Entrance Preview
I appeared for SRMEEE its a entrance exam to get in this university. There are total five campuses in India and that depends upon the rank which you get in entrance and I had interest in Physics that is why I chose Mechanical Engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was consists of 8 semester programs and three electives. I did Mechanical Engineering so I chose FEA as a elective subject there is also Robotics option and many others. Courses include management studies for all students which is necessary for further study or job.
Internships Opportunities
They didn't offer any paid internship. We had to arranged our own. They provide two projects in 2 nd year and third year in which student have to choose a project and work on it.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are very good in SRM as we all know but there is less opportunity for core fields. If anyone wants just a job they would definitely get it.The average package is 3 lacs P.A.
College Events
There is two fest celebrate every year. One is cultural named Rubaroo and other is technical fest Innovate. There are also a sports fest which celebrate by college every year
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is expensive including both tuition fees as well as hostel and bus fees.Tution fee 1.5 lacs per year and hostel fees 60k per year and bus fees 30 k per year
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes some students who they have topped in their branches they get chance to have abroad studies and also get chance to have good scholarship. Some students who they are from low background they get scholarship and waivers in tuition fees.
Campus Life
I was day scholar so I am not the right person to tell about hostel life but still I can say it was good. I visited many times. SRM represented many national level fest and robotics fest.
Hostel Facilities
Overall it is good there are many blocks. There are lot of free space for fresh air and rooms are very spacious and also options for food messes.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful. They always support whether it is about study or extra curricular activities. There are many alumni connected to NCR campus so students cam get help. Seniors shared their notes and required help in laboratory. There are also a computer lab where students can surf anytime and also college provides library where students can get benefit any time they want to study.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is very tight. There are four exams in every six months duration which is hectic but it has its own benefit.
Faculty
They were cooperative and very helpful, friendly nature. They are well qualified. Almost every faculty graduated from IIT or NITs so quality of education is more then average and they are very experienced in their field
