My course was only available in this college. The college provides a good field experience to us since we require to work in the field for the upliftment of the urban as well as rural parts of the cities.

The course curriculum is up to date as per the ITPI (Indian Town Planners institute) guidelines. The faculties need to be up to date with the syllabus and need to have an unfair and unbiased views on certain topics.

There are abundant job opportunities available after graduations because, there are just a handful of planners available in the country and the are thousands of jobs available for those people.

College Events

Campus life is good and there are many events that are organized for the students to enjoy. There is a huge need for sports events in the university. Not only sports but, any form of extracurricular activities.

Campus Life

The campus provides up to date infrastructure for their students. the library has a lot of literature that is readily available for us to read. But, there is very less emphasis on sports as well as physical activities.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
