Amazing life

The college had an interview process as well as an essay which had to be written on the spot.The interview was relatively long and lasted fifteen to twenty minutes, there were two interviewers, and they first asked me to tell them about myself and why did i wanted to choose computer science engineering over other courses, after this they asked me some basic question from 12th std.

Course curriculum is quite vast and covers most of the topics that are to be studied and are of importance, core-wise.The syllabus is at par with most of the other government colleges and is more or less the same.A few other additions are there such as Behavioral Science, Communication skills, Foreign Language which are mandatory and hence burden us with more exams, closes and assignments.

The internship was organized by myself and there wasn't any stipend offered.So I can't comment on the college internship experience and what was the general stipend offered.

The placement and job opportunities offered are very good as our placement cell is quite strong and well connected. I got placed in the first round of placements itself in a good IT company.

There are many events being conducted regularly though some of the main events are - Sangathan and Amity Youth Fest (AYF). Many people participate in these events through inter college sports as well as technical competitions.

The fees structure is more or less feasible and depends on one's financial standing, though academically bright students are offered scholarships.I felt the fees is a bit high by 5-10%.

I don't know about any loan facility but academically bright students are offered scholarships.Since I haven't availed any of these facility i can't comment on - "Any good scholarship / loan facility offered by your college that you know of or availed?"

Campus life is very chilled out and very tolerant. In my four years I did not come across any fights due to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.There are many cultural societies but a student can be a part of only one.There are many other competitions like SAE and Confluence that students can be a part of.

In each semester, there are two exams - minors (20 marks) and majors (100) which include labs as well. Classes go on till 4:30 and leave us with a hectic day.

The Faculty of our college is very professional and well versed with the topics or subjects that they're related to or are teaching. Most of the faculties offer guidance and support outside of the classroom and are proficient with their subject.
