Course Curriculum Overview
Elective subjects are not choosen by staffs. It is purely choosen by the students.if maximum students opts for an elective subject, then that is taken as their elective subject.
Internships Opportunities
During pre-final year, we were took to an industrial visit at Kerala for free. All charges were taken care by the college itself. No stipend offered. Only knowledge gaining. That too very effective.
Placement Experience
When I was doing my college, 99.5% people got placed. Many had multiple offers. It is the best place for getting placed. Also to gain more knowledge. Mock interviews and feedbacks were also given, which really helped me.
College Events
SVCE Annual Day, Department specific National level Symposiums - Interrupt (CS Department symposiums)- where in people from various colleges come and participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible but transport rate is too high. Where in I remember, I paid around 26k per year. If I take MTC for entire year, it would costed me only 8k.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee waiver for the students whose parents annual income is less than 1, 20, 000.Special scholarships for SC/ST students who are studying well.
Campus Life
I would say that I enjoyed my college days but now a days I heard that our college had placed cameras in the classrooms to monitor students and staff activities.
Hostel Facilities
I am not sure about the hostel rooms as i was a dayscholar. Veg food only be sold in the canteen. We had coffee day shop apart from the regular canteen.Rates are nominal.
Alumni/Alumna
To be frank, apart from teachers, I have no contact with other alumni of our college. I am proud to say that the founder of InfoAxe, the search engine was from our college.
Exam Structure
Exam is not that much hectic here.Term exams - Clubbing some of the units and asked to write test. Annual exams - Overall unit test Class test - sometimes teacher may request student to prepare and write.
Faculty
Faculties are very friendly. During project work, my guide helped me a lot when I am struck.Really very supportive too. Eventhough I am new to networks, I could able to complete the work on time by the support of my friends and faculties.
