Remarks

I chose this college because it is reputed college and is know for its B.Com courses. I wanted to go in this college only because the college looks really great and also the fees is not so high for B.Com.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help whenever been approached. The course curriculum is a bit of type of traditional approach because it does not take care of the practical theories which have been implemented or being used in the corporate work. So it does not provide clarity on what are the things that are exported from an individual for an industry which will be entering.

Placement Experience

About 35% of students from our senior batch. They got placed in companies like Capgemini and Infosys. The salary package offered ranges from 2-2.5 LPA, and 4 people got placed in Infosys, and 12 people got placed in Capgemini. The same salary package offered to all students.

College Events

The college conducts fests every year where students from many colleges of Mumbai come to join. Various competitions like sports, arts, national level are also organised as intra-college as well as inter-college.

Campus Life

The college has the best infrastructure. There are Wi-Fi facilities, labs, and excellent classrooms. There is a huge library. The best of all is the canteen facility which is provided to us on the campus. We also have a counsellor and on-campus medical practitioner on the campus for any kind of emergencies.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. Mithibai has great placement opportunity as there are big companies that comes for campus placement like KPMG, DELOITTE, JP MORGAN and EY. So it can give great start to students in corporate world. This is one of the reasons I chose mithibai over other colleges. Also there are so many clubs that I can be a part of to form connections, gather ideas and build leadership skills. I also applied to NMIMS, DU and I got admission there. Reason for not choosing was simple that the opportunities for me were more at Mithibai than any other college and it was a great decision overall. As I had done FYJC and SYJC from Mithibai college only so I had enrolled in the same college for Bachelor of Commerce course . I had thought for applying in other colleges but no college in Mumbai was providing good infrastructure and facilities at low fees that time.
