Pankaj's Review On Mahendra Engineering College, Namakkal

College posses good infrastructure other than that it has none and the management is really very bad the college was started before 18 years but there is companies linked to it no improvement my conclusion is it's a bad college my advice is not to study there.

No entrance exam requires admission based on cut off marks scored in 10+2 public examination through the counselling held by anna university chennai i took a cut off of 159.75 in my 10+2 examination I opted this college because i posses a low cut off and hence there is no chance for me choose other good college hence this college was built 14 years ago i opted for this.

Course curriculum does not based on the college it is common for all anna university affiliated colleges this college has nothing to do about it in particular.

I studied four years there up to my knowledge no companies came there or no students goes for intern but the management says the college has lot of links with MNC companies but they are all lie.

There is no placements or job opportunities there is only stories about that.To my knowledge during my four years there, no one in this college got placed or any companies made campus interviews but i heard a rumor that someone in computer science department got placed but i am sure it just a rumor.

Hostel day, annual day, symposiumthese are the evens celebrated there in my four years only hostel day was celebrated all the four years annual day was celebrated two years and symposium three years they invite some actors as chief guest for annual day actor cheran came there for a function.

Fee structure is average while comparing with other colleges which has high fee structure than this while i study i paid Rs.55000 for college and 30000 for hostel and i thing it may increased a litte i am not sure about that.

No scholarship will be provided by the college but you can try outside college will not provide any loan facilities but you will get loan from tamilnadu government for doing engineering and the government also provide scholarship based on community and caste systems and also for students who are first graduate in their family.

My campus life went happily due to my friends the management didn't encourage extracurricular activities gender ratio was nearly 6:4(male:female) hostel life is really enjoyable that's because of friends management will allow celebrate a hostel party year but if you have good friends there all days are parties ragging is banned no gender problems or religion, community problems college has both indoor and outdoor stadium for basketball game a volley ball ground and ground for cricket, football(same area).

Has separate hostel for boys and girls i don't know about the girls hostel they provide different hostel for first year male students and this first year hostel is good and the hostel for remaining yeas was not good mess food was neither good nor bad during admission time that is first three months of the year the mess food was good after that it's will some days good.

I don't have any connection with senior or junior students there is no big alumni network maximum number of seniors are unemployed and so alumi network is not strong.

Exam structure has nothing to do with the college it was purely based on the norms of anna university Actually the exams were chilled out they provide lot of holidays for exam but sometimes it becomes hectic they provide a week holiday for an exam and then conduct two exams with only a day between.which means on the next day.

The faculty of this college is really very worst no one in this college knows how to teach but some staffs knows the subject but don't know to explain others don' even know what they are doing.
