Entrance Preview
AIEEE AIR-8551 Only NIT in UP and is known for its academics specifically for civil engineering. Ragging is nil and administration is very strict towards such activities. This make a newly joined student very comfortable within few weeks.
Placement Experience
In civil placement is very poor but not because companies are not visiting, But because students are not interested in taking job in private companies.
College Events
Avishkar- technical fest,well organised and popular. Culrav-cultural fest, well organised,popular and participation in very good number. Josh-internal sports event Gnosomania- Quiz event organized with either avishkar or culrav.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is controlled by government. Since recent order of MHRD it going to be expensive. People are protesting against fee hike. In 2014 academic fee was around 24000 per sem and mess fee 12000 per sem for undergarduates.
Fees and Financial Aid
For UG courses no such scholarship but for PG courses 12400 rs per month. Some gold medal for departmental toppers and some subject toppers is also there.
Campus Life
Here MNNIT lacks since not very well structure or authority is there which can make proper extra curricular activities in college. Whatever is there its all because of students own effort no support from administration.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilites are very good. 24*7 lan connectivity, Water supply, Water coolers for drinking water with purifier and night canteen. Mess food is also very good since mess is fully in control of students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni portal is made and fb page is also there which offers communication among alumni and current students. Alumni are very humble and responsive towards our problems.
Exam Structure
Exams are twice in a semester mid and end and one in a day hence not very hectic but level of question paper is very well maintained.
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified and decent but lack of teaching quality in some of the undergraduate teachers. Some of the faculties sometimes behave very rudely and ill mannered.
