Remarks

This college is meant for studies. Not only studies but gives us a lot of opportunities for our best. The admission process was based upon the marks we scored I got my name on the merit list. The reason for this college is I wanted to be a part of bhawanipur college as it was my childhood dream and I always wanted to be a part of a great college like bhawanipur.

Course Curriculum Overview

I selected BCom Hons because it's easy for me and I also get time to look upon my business. The teaching of teachers is really very good. Exams are taken most of the time like around in a semester we have 8-10 college exams and it is difficult to pass.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 49000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit like vipro, Amway etc. Out of 100 most probably 70% of students get placements. My plan is to settle upon my own family business.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per college, I think the cost is a little high. Our college provides scholarships to the students most often and campus jobs were really very helpful for the passed out students.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is really good no worries. We have a great fest in Kolkata that is Umang one of the biggest fests most probably conducted in November or December. All kinds of books are available in the college library.We get a lot of opportunities to show up our interests in sports.Many clubs are being run by students to achieve great goals.

Interview Experience

There were no GD or PI. The admission criteria are based on the percentage of the students, if the college finds that the student marks are liable then welcome to the college.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
