Remarks

College management provides excellent facilities for the students really lucky if you get into this institution.

All India Manipal university online entrance test i heard about life at Manipal and decided to go for the entrance test.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is not that difficult and easy to get good score for an average student faculties are really good.

Internships Opportunities

There are lot of oppurtunities to get internship at foreign countries i am lucky to travel to Tokyo for my project.

Placement Experience

There are lot of companies coming to manipal for placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not very expensive if you get into a course in merit seat but NRI seats are expensive as usual.

Campus Life

Enuf cultural events you will experience there.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food is best and hostel facilities i don't think not many colleges will provide you with hygienic and tasty food like manipal.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.

After joining the course with 3 months of starting of the course the placements will be startedforthe students to apply for the placements. Tier-1MNCs companies are visiting for the college which are proving high package . The highest package got is 94LPA and average package is 10LPA. 95% of students got the placements.

Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of campus placement cell. Average package is around I would say 25 lpa. Since most of the students go for higher studies from IISc hence, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personality I am also going for higher studies.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
