Remarks

They have 100% placement in there campus they have links with international companies and they also helps you to understand the startup's how exactly the company works and they have excellent campu/ infrastructure with smart library which was main point for me

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many courses in this college in which you have to choose like finance, human resources, management etc. You have to choose from this in the first year itself. Some faculties are the sweetest and some are really egoistic. Like in finances there are lot of egoistic teachers.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I did internship at small startup company called JP Finance and I was working with with the CFO of the company. There was no stipend but they gave me travelling and food accommodation. ( this internship wasn't provided by college)

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are very great because they give 100% placement opportunity the only students who don't get placed are the one who wants to start there own company.

College Events

Campus life of an MBA students is on another level. The competition you will face at every situation will be very difficult in any of the activities because there are lot of activities happen in this college like sports ( indoor and outdoor games) technical games are also there. There will be some quiz and etc.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is big enough to build a whole stadium and bathrooms are really great also they have great computer labs and non of computers is off. Library is also very big and they charge very high fine when you do late submission of books that you borrowed. And also unlike other colleges they have there own hostels.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are in good condition but I will say they don't give that much service. And you have to share the room with any two student. And the rent for hostel is around 160000 in which includes the security deposit amount which is 20000 and the food is also included in this cost

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

KJ Somaiya - A lively campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. THE TRUTH ABOUT KJ SOMAYA

I applied for feweer Colleges but not in Mumbai this was the only college i applied in Mumbai outside Mumbai i applied in Chennai Delhi Bhopal etc but as my parents suggested not to go far away and stay here I got approval too from many of them but when they saw I got approval in kj they said it's nice get this college u can stay here , addmission process is like hetciccccc like I have no words it soo bad , 70% I might say to be eligible cutoff for these exams are not that much so you can be chill bro...Read More

I have applied in three colleges namely 1). Mumbai University 2).K.J.Somaiya college of engineering 3).Swami Vivekananda society of engineering. I did apply for just one more college for safety as I was very sure of getting admission in KJ. I had heard a lot about KJ's HM so dreamt of it. I availed Gujarati quota for admission. The selection criterion includes cut-off cleared scores of CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT, a GD-PI round, past academic records and work experience if any. For CAT and XAT, the cut-off is usually 80-85%ile; for GMAT, the cut-off is 550-600 and for CMAT it is 85-90%ile. The group discussion is case-based.
