Remarks

WB CLAT entrance exam is held where students from all around the state and from outside take part in. Ranks are given out and according to that list colleges are assigned to each student and on the specified date admission is carried out.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have mixed feeling about out college faculty, as there are few amazing teachers who are always there to help out a student in need or anybody facing any sort of trouble, not only academially but otherwise as well.

There are many direct placement or job opportunities offered by the college. As of internships, that provided by our college as well. It's all on the student to find an internship elsewhere.

College Events

Plenty of things are celebrated in our college, few as follows: Saraswati pujo- proper puja of goddess saraswati takes place followed by lunch for all the students. Fresher's party- for the new first year, students committee organises a party where some band performs.

Placement Experience:

Starting from our 3rd semester we will start to appear in various kind of internships there are so many big corporate law companies who came and hires from our universities. As our seniors got jobs this year the highest package is 50000 per month and she is currently working in a corporate law sector. Almost 72 to 80% students get placements. After getting my degree I will apply for internships and at the same time I think I will apply for masters program too.

Analysis of a Prosperous Path of Career objectifying its Credibility and Outcome.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.A.LLB(Hons.) because I want to have knowledge of law because laws form the basis of society. Moreover, I had an Arts Background therefore, it was a good combination for me to explore and go according to my desired path of career. The count of faculty members of IILS is an approximation of 20-30 teachers and the students each semester is near about 70-100. The teachers are truly well versed in their respective subjects and they're immensely knowledgeable and friendly, they try hard to make us understand in the easiest manner. But the only problem is that the faculties are not permanent, it keeps on changing. The term examinations were always on time except for the lockdown time but this was also managed smoothly within time. In order to know the difficulties I would share a fact and i.e., when I took admission in my Institute there was a total number of 140 students in my semester but no sooner than the first exam held half of them failed and now we're 70 of us.

As far as the reviews of seniors, from 5th to 6th semesters campus placements are eligible. As per seniors, 90% of the students get placed. I have plans to go for LLM (masters) and practice as an advocate in the future.
