Remarks

Veltech infrastructure is very good and unique. They provide free Wi-Fi in each and every department. Practical labs will be conducted for every course. And when coming to security, the whole college is under CCTV cameras. For every department there is separate library which also have computers and we can get Wi-Fi and also have air conditioned hall. Facilities available are great in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is better and have some confusion in choosing the time table. They follow CBCS (choice base credit system) where you can choose your own timetable.Faculty members are very good when coming to teaching and they are helpful. They are qualified with M.Tech and Ph.D. and doctorate.

About 90% of students get placed in our university every year, the highest package was 4.2 LPA and the lowest was 1.8 LPA, AMAZON, ZOHO, WIPRO INFOSYS etc. are the top recruiters. Top domains was general category and data analytics. About 40% of students got internship in many other countries.

College Events

Campus life is very good. There are many events that takes place in our university. Coming to event's every year they conduct lavaza which lasts for 3 days. Lavaza allows huge participation and huge entertainment level. Our management festivals are also good.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues.
